HAUSVPN

Privacy Policy

HAUS GROUP LLC · Last updated 29 July 2026
The short version. HausVPN does not log what you do online. We do not record the websites you visit, the apps you use, the DNS queries you make, or the IP addresses you connect from. We do not sell data, we do not run advertising SDKs, and there are no third-party trackers inside the app.

1. Who we are

HausVPN is operated by HAUS GROUP LLC ("we", "us"). If you have a question about this policy, or want your data deleted, write to support@hausvpn.com.

2. What we do not collect

We cannot hand over what we do not hold. If we ever receive a lawful request for user activity data, we have nothing responsive to produce.

3. What we do collect

DataWhyKept for
Account identifier (email address, if you create an account)So you can sign in on more than one device and restore a purchaseUntil you delete your account
Purchase and subscription statusTo know whether your plan is active. Payments are processed by Google Play; we never see your card details. As required by tax law (typically 7 years for the transaction record only)
Device WireGuard public keyIt is what lets your device authenticate to a gateway. It is a random public value and reveals nothing about you.Until the device is removed or the account is deleted
Crash reports and app version (aggregate)To fix crashes. Contains no browsing data.90 days
Aggregate server load per gatewayTo keep servers from overloading. Not attributable to any individual.30 days

4. Analytics and advertising

HausVPN contains no advertising SDKs and shows no ads. We do not use the Android Advertising ID. We do not build profiles, and we do not share data with data brokers, advertisers, or analytics networks.

5. How your traffic is handled

When you connect, your device establishes an encrypted WireGuard tunnel to a gateway you select. Traffic exits that gateway to the public internet using a shared address, so it cannot be traced back to a single user by the destination site. Gateway servers keep no persistent activity logs; connection state lives in memory and is gone when the session ends or the machine restarts.

Encryption protects traffic between your device and our gateway. It does not encrypt what happens after the gateway, and it does not hide your identity from any service you log in to.

6. Sub-processors

We do not use any other third party to process personal data.

7. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. Under the GDPR (EEA/UK) and the CCPA/CPRA (California) you additionally have the right to data portability, the right to object, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.

To exercise any of these, use Settings → Delete my account in the app, or email support@hausvpn.com. See also our account deletion page.

8. Children

HausVPN is not directed at children and is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, write to us and we will delete it.

9. Legal use

HausVPN is a privacy tool, not a shield for illegal activity. VPN use is restricted or regulated in some countries — it is your responsibility to know your local law. We will terminate accounts used for network abuse, including spam, port scanning, denial-of-service traffic, and intrusion attempts.

10. Security

Tunnels use WireGuard with ChaCha20-Poly1305 for data, Curve25519 for key exchange, and per-peer pre-shared keys. Private keys are generated on your device and never leave it. Our management endpoints are TLS-only.

11. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that affects what we collect, we will update the date at the top and notify active users in the app before the change takes effect.
